UCAT ANZ ((Undergraduate Clinical Aptitude Test for Australian and New Zealand) has replaced UMAT (Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Test) for Australian and New Zealand Year 12 students wishing to apply for entry into medicine, dentistry and some clinical science courses from 2020 onwards. The universities and courses that require UCAT are listed on the UCAT .
UCAT is a two-hour computer based test comprised of five subtests in multiple choice format:
Registrations open in March and UCAT test bookings close in May. Details of fees, concession schemes and access arrangements are available on the UCAT website.
UCAT testing is held in July and results are available early in September.
